Have you wanted to contribute to Spring in Our Steps, but have not been able to make it out to a cleanup event? Or have you wanted to add to our efforts in some other way?

We have plans to expand our tool library, leverage funds for beautification projects at our cleanup sites, and put on special events, such as film screenings, alley parties, and visioning workshops. I’ve been following your progress (from Dayton) and really like the work that you’ve done in cleaning up the steps of Cincinnati. A couple of questions:
1. I’d like to send a check to express my support. To whom do I make the check?
2. Have you considered starting some organized walking tours of the steps to show your progress as well as the potential to the city of cleaning up the steps? Maybe something like the Queen City Underground Tours?

  Thank you so much for the kind words about the initiative. As far as answers to your questions:
  
  1) We were recently awarded a cash prize from Keep Cincinnati Beautiful for our work, this year. The check was made out to Spring in Our Steps, but we do not yet have an account set up, specifically for the initiative. That will happen by the end of this week, however. By next week, you may make it out to Spring in Our Steps. Thanks!
  2) We do have some walking tours in the works, but they will follow some of our stairway clearance events. We recently had one at the Jackson Hill Park Steps. After two more stairway projects, we will have an announcement on the blog and facebook page.
